Shipping Across Canada

Every piece leaves the Montréal studio fully insured, with end-to-end tracking through Canada Post or Purolator depending on size and destination.

Smaller works (under 24 in) ship flat in a custom-padded box. Larger originals ship rolled in an archival tube ready for re-stretching, or stretched and crated for an additional fee.

Transit Times

  • Québec & Ontario — 2 to 4 business days
  • Maritimes — 4 to 6 business days
  • Prairies & British Columbia — 5 to 8 business days
  • Yukon, NWT & Nunavut — 7 to 14 business days (quoted individually)

Shipping Costs

Costs are calculated by size, weight, and destination, and shown clearly before checkout. Insured shipping within Québec and Ontario typically runs $25 to $90; cross-country shipping for larger works, $90 to $220.

International Collectors

International shipping is offered on request. Email the studio with the artwork and the destination — King will quote courier, packaging, and customs handling personally.

Packaging & Arrival

Works are wrapped in acid-free tissue, sealed in protective film, and corner-guarded before being crated or boxed. Hardware, certificate, and hanging notes travel inside the package.

If your piece arrives damaged, photograph the box and the work within 48 hours of delivery and email the studio — repair or replacement is fully covered.

14-Day Returns

Live with the piece for 14 days. If it doesn't belong in your space, contact the studio for a return label and a full refund of the artwork price once the work arrives back in original condition.

Return shipping is covered by the studio within Canada. Commissioned and custom-sized works are final sale.

Caring For Your Work

Hang away from direct sunlight, heating vents, and high-humidity rooms. Ideal conditions are 18–22 °C and 40–55% humidity — the same range that keeps you comfortable.

Dust gently with a dry, soft microfiber cloth. Never use water, glass cleaner, or chemical sprays on the surface.

For deeper cleaning or restoration, contact the studio — King will refer a trusted conservator in your region.
